How many sessions will I require?
Each individual’s needs are unique. While some clients notice positive changes after just a few sessions, most complete between 8 and 12 sessions to achieve lasting results. We’ll review your progress regularly to ensure the pace and focus of therapy continue to meet your goals.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes — confidentiality is of the utmost importance. All sessions and client records are treated with strict professional discretion and handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations and the ethical standards of PTUK, NCH, and AfSFH.
Is hypnotherapy safe?
Yes. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a safe and evidence-based approach. You remain in complete control at all times. The process simply guides you into a relaxed, focused state of mind where positive change can occur more easily
Can everyone experience hypnosis?
Most people can. Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention and relaxation, similar to daydreaming or deep concentration. As long as you are willing to engage with the process, you can benefit from hypnotherapy.
How are online sessions delivered?
All online sessions are conducted securely via Zoom, ensuring confidentiality and ease of access. You will receive a private meeting link before each session and can join from the comfort of your own home using your preferred device.
How does hypnotherapy differ from counselling?
While counselling often explores past experiences, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is future-oriented. It helps you identify and build on your existing strengths, focusing on practical steps that move you toward confidence, calm, and lasting positive change.
What if I am new to therapy?
That’s perfectly fine. Many clients come to hypnotherapy as their first experience of therapeutic support. Sessions are designed to be gentle, supportive, and empowering, helping you feel at ease from the very beginning.
